New Deputy Rector,2011

A new Deputy Rector has been appointed for the college w.e.f October 2011. He is Engr Zakari Zubairu, who until then, was a Chief AME Instructor in the college. He has since assumed duty.

Akwa Ibom Airport Development company has commenced the training of its personnel for the take-off of the Airport project in the college. The areas are: Aviation Security, Air Traffic Engineering, Air Traffic Control and Airport Operations

Aviation Managenent School

Engr J.Ikhgbonoaremen has been appointed as Head, ATE School w.e.f Nov 2011. He was HOD, NavAids Dept , and has since assume duty.

Engr A. A. Onipede has been appointed as Head, Aviation Management Dept w.e.f Nov 2011, which has newly been established. He was formerly a Chief Instructor in ATE School and  has since assumed duty
